How would the Summoner’s Rift in real life?

unreal engine league of legends map

League of Legends seems to have its unique feel, it’s a colorful cartoons-like title, but with its basic graphical language and design, it generates a ton of valuable data easily. However, what would really look like an actual location of the Runeterra world? The game was reconstructed by an independent programmer in Unreal Engine 4, and the map feels awesome.

Dev Wayne S. made a youtube video to complement the map. This footage not only navigates the reworked map but also the production and construction cycle. Wayne S. explains how he developed the idea for the map and explains each stage of the development.

In Epic’s renowned game engine, the Summoner’s Rift has been redesigned by Wayne S., offering the whole area a fresh and realistic appearance. In this story, the sunset lights winds via the trees, swirling the vines and the ferns which shrink on the banking along the muddy, well used walkways on the different paths. The water wafts and mirrors the sun and the greens that actually seems good and pleasant to the eye, coating the stones surrounding the lanes of the Rift.

Wayne S. has also been developing his very own title, an open-world puzzle title named Doomsday to save the entire planet. By heading to his website you can endorse his project.

It is an insightful example for all of us who have not ever tried to do something similar previously. However, Wayne offers some useful hints and advice to accelerate the project, for example the design of customized software for UE4 for automating those features.
